FAQ about CORPUS 'journey through the human body'

 

  1. Where can I park the car?
    Inside the CORPUS building is the CORPUScarpark. Costs are €5,00 per 4 hours. An everage visit takes about 2,5 hours.

  2. For who is CORPUS suiteble?
    Everybody from the age of 8 years can experience the 'journey through the human body'.  Baby's, childeren under the age of 8 and buggy's are not allowed to visit CORPUS.

  3. Can I enter CORPUS with a wheel chair?
    Yes, though we ask you to read our terms and conditions about wheelchairs on the following page, wheel chair.

  4. Is CORPUS suiteble for people who are blind/sighted and deaf/hearing impaired?
    Yes. During your visit in CORPUS, you will receive an audioset which includes the voice of CORPUS and will guide you through the building. Along side the voice-over there are extra sounds and music in the 'journey'. For the hearing impaired we have two neckloop receivers which you can use at a deposit of € 25,- and a copy of your id. Entrance is free for the supervisor/companion of people who are blind/sighted and/or deaf/hearing impaired.

  5. Can we book a guide for our visit?
    Visitors of CORPUS will receive a audioset for the 'journey'. This audioset will guide you through CORPUS. A special guide will be of no use during your visit. You do not need to reserve the audioset, it is included in the entry fee.

  6. In which languages is CORPUS offered?
    Visitors can choose between 8 languages for the audioset. The languages are: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Russian. The audioset is included in the price.

  7. What is the entry fee of CORPUS and how long do I stay in CORPUS?
    Adults pay €16,50 for a ticket. Childeren from 8 years up to 14 years and parties over 10 persons pay €14,00 per ticket. the 'journey through the human body' lasts 55 minutes. Afther this journey you can have fun testing you own health and learning more about your own CORPUS in the medical info centre. You will be in CORPUS approx. 2,5/3 hours.

  8. Is there a restaurant in CORPUS?
    In the entry hall you can have coffee and something small to eat in the coffecorner before you start the 'journey'.  Halfway during your visit, you will find the restaurant where you can have lunch and/ or a drink.

  9. How can we reach CORPUS  bij public transport?
    Visitors can take BUS 57 from the central station of Leiden. Please get out at the stop 'CORPUS'. CORPUS is right behind you. From the central station it takes about 7 minutes to reach CORPUS. For a map please check the following page: map.

  10. How can we reach CORPUS by car?
    CORPUS is situated right next to the highway A44. Please take the exit Leiden or Oegstgeest and follow the signs 'CORPUS'. Or check the this map.

  11. Why do we need to book tickets in advanced?
    CORPUS works with starting times. Every seven minutes a group of maximum 16 people will start there 'journey'. If you don't book tickets in advanced it is possible that CORPUS is fully booked or that you have a waiting time.

  12. How can we book tickets?
